Our organization is seeking an experienced and skilled Physiotherapist to join our dedicated Aged Care team.

This role offers a dynamic opportunity for a motivated professional to develop their clinical skills, enhance patient outcomes, and contribute to the well-being of elderly individuals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services, including chronic disease management, manual handling assessments, initial evaluations, and referrals to healthcare providers.

Additionally, they will participate in clinical meetings, facilitate staff training, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy, current General registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and valid screening checks.

What You Will Do
  • Chronic disease and injury management
  • Manual handling and functional assessments
  • Initial assessments
  • Clinical referrals
  • Community referrals
  • Fall prevention, risk management and education
  • Equipment prescription
  • Exercise Programs and Re-enablement services
  • Attending Clinical meetings and case conferences
  • Facilitate clinical staff training

What We Look For In A Candidate
  • Minimum level bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current AHPRA General registration. New graduates welcome.
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
  • Police Check or willingness to obtain
  • Current Flu & COVID Vaccination evidence
  • Medicare Provider Number or willingness to obtain
