Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Insolvency Accountant to join our team in providing exceptional service across a wide range of corporate insolvency and restructuring assignments.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of corporate insolvency engagements, supervise and guide junior staff, conduct financial investigations, and prepare detailed reports.

Liaising with directors, creditors, and external professionals, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and meeting relevant deadlines is also an essential part of this role.

Additionally, the Corporate Insolvency Accountant will oversee asset realisation and the recovery of funds, attend interviews with directors and creditors, and prepare and review financial models and other financial analysis.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or Accounting (or related field).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in corporate insolvency.
  • CAANZ or CPA qualified (or working towards qualification).
  • Excellent understanding of relevant statutory requirements and insolvency laws.
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and work within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team environment.
