Acquired Injury Support Worker

We are seeking individuals who share our passion for providing quality care and support to people with disabilities.

  • Clients will be supported in various aspects of their lives, including personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, transport, purchases, social support, record keeping and reporting.

Key qualifications include:

  • Australian residency status or valid Australian working rights
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or currently working towards one
  • A current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence and an insured and reliable motor vehicle
  • A current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration
  • A Schedule 1 or Probity type National Police Check (no older than 12 months and not an annulled record)

Additional requirements include undertaking Anglicare Tasmania's assessed medical before commencement and Safeguarding Children Training program on the job.
