Culinary Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Culinary Assistant to join our team at BaptistCare William Carey Court Busselton. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and delivery of high-quality meals to our valued residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation of food and beverages, adhering to standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines.
• Participate in cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with the chef and kitchen team to ensure efficient service delivery.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment, preferably in a residential care setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 20kg and participate in physical tasks as required.
• Capacity to work a mix of morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends.
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and National Police Check.
