Job Overview

We are seeking a leader to head a small team responsible for delivering on-ground regulatory responses in Western Metropolitan Melbourne Region.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will oversee and deliver front-line regulatory operations aligned to our strategic priorities. You will work under broad direction from your supervisor, ensuring a positive organisational culture and achieving high standards of performance and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage a team to achieve high standards of performance, accountability, collaboration, ethics, and integrity.
  2. Manage resources, business planning, reporting, and budget allocation.
  3. Participate in responding to environmental and public health emergencies and incidents.
  4. Ensure compliance with legislative, policy, and process obligations and requirements.
  5. Contribute to investigations and delivery of preventative projects and compliance programs.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Leadership experience in a relevant regulatory role.
  • Proven ability to lead a high-performing team.
  • Ability to apply government legislation, regulations, and procedures.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
