Job Opportunity: Case Manager for At-Risk Children and Families

This role presents a chance to work with vulnerable populations, specifically children and young people in Out Of Home Care (OOHC). As a dedicated professional, you will be responsible for providing case management services to support these individuals and their families.


The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build trust with clients, and an understanding of child protection issues. Experience working with at-risk children, young people, and families is essential, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of assessment and risk mitigation strategies.


You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including service providers and caregivers, to ensure seamless support delivery and access to wrap-around services. The successful candidate will also contribute to team goals, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.


To excel in this position, you should have:

  • A degree in social work, early childhood, psychology, or a related field.
  • At least 12 months of case management experience working with at-risk children and young people and/or families in a child protection focused role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, CALD, and LGBTIQ+ communities.
  • A current driver's license.
