Senior Nurse Leadership Role

This position involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring that the application of the nursing process and case management are carried out effectively. The charge nurse will be responsible for managing a defined caseload, working in partnership with other disciplines to provide exceptional client/patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and deliver care to a designated group of clients/patients
  2. Ensure the application of the nursing process and use of case management as appropriate
  3. Delegated responsibility for the appraisal, management, and clinical supervision of Registered Nurses and junior practitioners
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with valid UK NMC Registration
  • Educated to Degree Level or working towards it
  • Postgraduate expertise within speciality/area of practice demonstrating required breadth of knowledge
  • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within speciality/area of practice
  • Leadership skills to enable day-to-day management of service delivery
