About The Opportunity

The Modelling & Analytics Specialist will play a critical role in providing modelling and analytical support for our Customer & Energy Markets team. This includes developing code-based quantitative systems, tools, and models to track, forecast, and optimise portfolio gross margin.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with the flexibility to work from our Brisbane office or from home. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the growth and success of Clean Co.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in a quantitative discipline, such as computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or statistics, with strong programming skills in Python. You should also have experience in data analytics and optimisation, with a proven ability to write and review code in line with industry best practices.

Advanced proficiency in creating insightful visualisations and dashboards with Power BI, and sourcing data using SQL, is highly desirable. Proficiency in managing software development with Azure Dev Ops/Git repos will also be advantageous.

Deep knowledge of the National Electricity Market (NEM), east coast gas market, and forward/futures contract markets will be highly desirable. Excellent collaboration and soft skills, with the ability to work effectively with key stakeholders across the business and communicate complex concepts in simple terms, are essential.
