About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Education Leader to join our team as a Principal at Kirrawee Public School.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a complex public school focused on delivering high-quality education. This includes developing and implementing rigorous and inclusive whole school teaching and learning programs, as well as building positive relationships with students, staff, parents/carers, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the development and performance of staff to improve teaching and learning
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching and learning strategies to enhance student outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with students, staff, parents/carers, and the wider community
  • Manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven ability to lead a school with diverse learners to foster authentic inclusion and engagement through high-quality teaching and learning, and wellbeing programs
  • Demonstrated excellence in educational leadership to evaluate and sustain practices and programs for impact
  • A highly visible, approachable, and collaborative leader with demonstrated capacity to build on existing partnerships
  • A full approval to teach is a requirement, and applicants without this approval must commence the application process simultaneously
