Job Opportunity: Cyber Security Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to develop their skills, work with modern security technologies and make a significant contribution to our organization's cyber maturity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of systems within the Information Security domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all alerts are triaged and closed correctly
  • Escalate to senior management when required
  • Ensure all security controls are functioning optimally and up to date
  • Provide regular reports on the effectiveness of security controls to the IT Leadership Team in accordance with approved metrics
  • Research and put forward recommendations for new security tools that will help the business
  • Contribute to security related projects
  • Update and maintain Information Security documentation

Requirements include a minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Cyber Security role, a background prior to security in IT support/infrastructure, experience using security tools, a keen interest in Information Security and a desire to keep up to date with technological innovations within the space. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills are also essential.
