Are you looking for a new career challenge in ecology? We have an exciting opportunity for a Biodiversity Lead to join our New South Wales biodiversity team.

Biodiversity Expertise Required

We are seeking an experienced ecologist to lead a passionate team of experts, providing technical oversight of ecological and biodiversity assessments. This role will involve delivering and managing projects end-to-end, from scoping and fieldwork to reporting and client liaison.

  • Foster a collaborative culture within the team, ensuring high performance and delivery of quality outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice on ecological and biodiversity matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Work closely with clients, consultants, and regulators to develop business opportunities and grow the team.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive experience in biodiversity, ideally within consulting settings, with transport or energy market experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver quality outcomes under time and budget constraints.
  • Proficiency in biodiversity legislation, impact assessments, and approvals processes.
