Salary


We offer a competitive hourly rate of $28.53 - $28.82 per hour, plus 25% casual loading. This translates to an estimated annual salary of $58,000 - $59,200. In addition to your annual salary and entitlements, we also offer salary sacrifice benefits.



Job Description


This role involves delivering timely and effective catering and cleaning services within our health unit. Your day-to-day tasks will include preparing and serving meals, assisting with laundry duties, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility. Your contributions will directly impact the comfort and well-being of our patients, making this role both rewarding and essential.



Key Responsibilities



  • Utility Services & Catering: Assist with general housekeeping, including window high cleaning and routine carpet shampooing; manage laundry services: wash, sort, dry, fold, and store uniforms and linens; undertake minor sewing repairs and assist with equipment sterilisation processes; prepare a variety of meals, including breakfasts, soups, and fast-serve options; plate and deliver food to clients, ensuring their dietary requirements are met; communicate effectively with supervisors regarding food quality and client needs.

  • Limited experience in housekeeping, catering, or laundry services is desirable but not essential.

This vacancy is for multiple casual positions, working hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked on a casual shift by shift basis. Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
