We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.

About the Role

The role of Maintenance Supervisor is to ensure that equipment within one's jurisdiction is maintained in a timely manner and to the highest standards by providing efficient and professional support to the Transport team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement maintenance strategies to ensure safety and compliance of all equipment is met
  • Must comply and adhere to State and National Legislation, ensuring vehicles are always roadworthy
  • Raise / Complete and Log work & purchase orders by utilising Asset Management Tool (Maximo)
  • Liaise with internal and external clients / suppliers in a professional manner
  • Support any afterhours equipment breakdowns, accidents / incidents and general maintenance
  • Schedule equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, liaising with drivers on odometer entries
  • Diagnose and address any E-Pod and other Telematics' equipment issues, and coordinate repairs accordingly
  • Monitor and report equipment / vehicle outages and, and ensure R&M is within expectations
  • Coordinate and compile relevant maintenance and asset management reports and share as instructed
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience within a transport environment
  • Mechanical knowledge including electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient MS office skills with a strong internal & external customer service focus
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise to competing deadlines
  • The ability to develop effective working relationships within a team environment
  • Provide support and near miss analysis, and have an attention to detail
  • A strong commitment and focus on safety
