Ophthalmology Internship Opportunity in Western Sydney

At Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH), we are seeking a motivated and dedicated veterinarian to join our team as an Ophthalmology Intern.
This 12-month, full-time internship program is designed to provide comprehensive training and hands-on experience in ophthalmology, with a focus on complex and interesting cases. As part of this role, you will work closely with our experienced ophthalmology specialist and nurse to assist in patient care and develop your skills in consultations, theatre, wards, and diagnostic procedures.
About YouWe are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic vet with a strong desire to learn and expand their ophthalmology knowledge in a multi-disciplinary setting. To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate exceptional English language skills, both written and verbal, as well as a solutions-focused mindset, self-motivation, effective time management, and a strong work ethic.
Requirements- Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in a full-time capacity or completion of a 1-year Rotating Internship program.
- Degree registerable with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW.
To be successful in this role, you should also have a clear intention to pursue an ECVO Residency in Ophthalmology and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
