Job Description">

As a Practice Manager, you will play a vital role in the delivery and operation of mental health services at our Medicare Mental Health Centres. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and supporting a wide range of administrative tasks, managing Medical Receptionists/Admin, appointment systems, billing, medical records, onboarding, and management of practitioners.

Required Skills & Qualifications">
  • A minimum of five years' experience in Practice Management, preferably in a primary health/mental health environment.
  • Experience with Primary Health Care Accreditation processes (AGPAL or GPA).
  • Knowledge of Medicare compliance, MBS items codes, and billing systems.
  • Ability to manage staff, including providing supervision, performance reviews, and performance management.
  • Excellent organisational skills, prioritisation, meeting deadlines, working under pressure, and managing communications and information for staff.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, experience in managing GP practice software, and proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to maintain a calm, pleasant, and respectful manner.
