The role involves providing a wide range of treatment and care to individuals across various stages of mental health needs, including acute inpatient care, community care, psychiatric emergency services, consultation liaison, aged care psychiatry, rehabilitation, residential services, mental health intensive inpatient care, and early psychosis services.
This service focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred support through multidisciplinary teams working collaboratively.
As the successful applicant, you will be primarily based in an adult inpatient unit, managing and treating individuals aged 18 to 65 experiencing complex mental illness.
You will work closely with junior medical officers and other adult mental health teams, and also contribute to outpatient services such as post-discharge follow-up and ongoing community-based care.
