As a Senior Application Security Engineer at TPG Telecom, you'll be part of our Security Assurance Team, working closely with our Red Team to ensure our software development processes are both sophisticated and secure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of application codes to identify and address potential security risks.
  • Utilize static code analysis and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) tools to provide detailed and thorough code evaluations.
  • Collaborate with our Red Team to integrate their insights and strengthen our digital defences.
  • Ensure adherence to our Software Security Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) processes.
  • Educate and guide development teams on security best practices and foster a culture of security-conscious development.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and protective measures.
  • Apply a nuanced understanding of risk to prioritize and address potential vulnerabilities effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience in the digital assurance area, preferably in the retail and/or telecommunications sectors.
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to understand complex IT systems.
  • A talent for simplifying complexities and communicating effectively with development teams.
  • A passion for security and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
