Job Description

At a leading waste management organisation, we are dedicated to creating a world without waste by preserving our planet. As an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our facilities operate in accordance with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.

The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and understanding EHS policy, standards, and procedures. This includes collaborating with front-line teams to develop realistic procedures and goals based on actual work practices.

Additionally, the successful candidate will analyse EHS data to aid management decision-making and participate in audits. They will also assist operations with EHS tools like Risk Assessment and Critical Control Verification, facilitate EHS training, and support local EHS committees.

The EHS Coordinator will investigate EHS incidents, communicate corrective actions, and provide insights on process hazards, risk ratings, Safe Work Procedures, and Job Safety Environment Analysis. They will also manage worker's compensation claims and return-to-work processes.
