Canberra, ACT, Australia beBeeArtificialintelligence Full time $100,000 - $130,000
Job Summary
Ai is inviting high-performing recent graduates to join the team, working at the intersection of applied machine learning and automation for real-world enterprise use cases.
Turium is Xaana's flagship product suite, powering AI-led platforms across Australia.
As a Graduate AI Engineer, you'll collaborate with our AI scientists, ML engineers, and software teams to build and optimise models, design intelligent systems, and bring next-generation secure AI capabilities into production environments.
This opportunity is ideal for graduates with a passion for model development, data pipelines, and real-time inference, and who have achieved a Distinction-average GPA (6.0 or above).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design, training, fine-tuning, and evaluation of large language models (LLMs) and domain-specific models using structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Build and optimise end-to-end ML pipelines, including data ingestion, transformation, vectorisation, and inference workflows.
  • Develop secure backend services using Node.js and Python.
  • Design and implement Graph QL and REST APIs for AI-driven workflows.
  • Work alongside the AI team to fine-tune, integrate, and deploy LLMs into real products.
  • Contribute to performance testing, benchmarking, and ongoing optimisation of deployed models.
  • Apply responsible AI practices, including bias detection, explainability, and monitoring in live environments.

You Must Have:
  • Recent graduate in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum GPA of 6.0 or above (Distinction average) from ANU, UC, or another recognised Australian university.
  • Experience with Type Script, React, Node.js, and Python.
  • Experience working on ML-related university projects, personal builds, research, or hackathons – links to work encouraged.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, experimental environment.
  • Full working rights in Australia, and availability to work standard AEST/AEDT hours.

Why Join Us?
  • We reward performance, not tenure.
  • Grow with us and shape your career.
  • Work on national impact AI products.
  • Learn from AI engineers, product designers & cloud architects.
  • Hands-on with tech that matters – LLMs, agents, automation, secure APIs, encryption, and more.
  • We build secure technology — trusted by government and Fortune 500 clients.
