About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join our Sydney-based Civil NSW Projects team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting project teams on various Civil design, Local Government, and Urban Development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project teams on Civil design, Local Government, and Urban Development projects.
  • Prepare and draft drawings, models, and designs in 2D and 3D format to support the project team.
  • Continuously improve civil services design by staying up-to-date with the latest technology and practices in CAD and modeling.
  • Undertake site investigations to assist with understanding the project being delivered.
  • Maintain accurate electronic reporting, including transmittals, filing of models, and ensuring designs are methodical and documented to industry standards.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience using civil design packages, preferably 12D.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven civil 3D modeling and designing experience within civil engineering consultancies.
  • Experience within the built environment.
  • The ability to coordinate with others.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while working autonomously.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to continually find ways to overcome challenges and obstacles.
  • A strong team ethic to work collaboratively across functional groups.
  • Quality management abilities to maintain and develop 3D modeling standards and procedures.
  • A Diploma of Civil Construction Design is preferred.
