About the Position
As an inpatient mental health nurse, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, developing effective care plans, and providing high-quality person-centred care to patients with complex mental health needs.
Main Responsibilities
- Clinical Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored care plans.
- Patient Care: Provide empathetic and professional care to patients, prioritizing their physical and emotional well-being.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and promote continuity of service.
- Dynamic Environment: Respond to changing patient needs in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA is required.
- You must be committed to delivering person-centred, family-inclusive, and culturally sensitive care.
- Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and sound clinical judgment in all interactions.
