Job Title

We are seeking an accomplished Reliability Expert to ensure the stability and responsiveness of our platform, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing current software solutions to make them more stable and efficient.

Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining automation tools for monitoring, deploying, and scaling applications.

In this position, you will troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal impact on the production environment. Additionally, you will participate in the design and architecture of systems to enhance scalability, performance, and reliability.

You will work closely with software engineers to promote and implement best practices regarding reliability and efficiency. Your expertise in Python will be invaluable in developing and maintaining scripts and tools.

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to incidents. You will continuously analyze system performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

We seek a highly motivated individual with 7+ years of experience as an SRE or closely related role in Systems Engineering or Production Support. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related disciplines, or equivalent experience, is required. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Bash, and Terraform is essential.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams. Self-motivation and a positive mindset to examine any incidents are also crucial qualities for this role.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet, etc.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Ability to program using languages like Python, Bash, etc.
  • Proactive approach to identify problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas of improvement
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

  • Understanding of Big data (Hadoop / Hive / Spark), Airflow, Data Pipelines
  • Advanced programming ability
  • Familiarity with databases, both SQL and NoSQL
  • Previous exposure to microservices architecture
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Google Professional DevOps Engineer
