Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Scientific Liaison to facilitate interactions between healthcare professionals, medical societies, and other healthcare-related organizations, academia, and us. You will lead medical-to-medical communications in the field, providing high-level scientific, clinical, and research support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading proactive and reactive medical-to-medical communications in the field between healthcare professionals and our medical functions.
  • Gathering and analyzing customer insights to inform our medical activities and support customer needs.
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive stakeholder map to identify relevant HCPs, medical societies, and external stakeholders.
  • Identifying and facilitating educational, research, and other partnerships between external stakeholders and us.
  • Addressing field and customer queries on our medicines and research, as well as handling compassionate use requests.
  • Providing scientific expertise and stakeholder management for HCPs, medical societies, other healthcare-related organizations, and academia.
  • Executing the therapeutic area strategy under the guidance of our Senior Manager, Field Medical Excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant university degree in science, including healthcare professions.
  • Proven experience working as an MSL or deep knowledge of the therapeutic area.
  • 2+ years' experience in a scientific and technical capacity interacting with academics, researchers, or the medical profession.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and partnering skills.
  • Ability to understand and influence in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated strategic business planning abilities and superior customer management skills.
