We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Coordinator for Adult Education to join our dynamic team at Dementia Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering, assessing, and evaluating structured professional education sessions both accredited and non-accredited.

This is a full-time fixed-term position, based in Milton, QLD, reporting directly to the Team Leader, Centre for Dementia Learning. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and delivering high-quality education programs for people living with dementia, their families, and caregivers;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen relationships and promote Dementia Australia's programs and services;
  • Utilizing a continuous improvement approach to all tasks and initiatives, including reviewing and developing courses, ensuring programs comply with professional standards, and delivering education to the highest standard;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote education and awareness about dementia.

As a Program Coordinator for Adult Education, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality education programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of people impacted by dementia.

We offer a competitive salary package, including:

Estimated Annual Salary: AU$65,000 - AU$90,000

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate field, including but not limited to; allied health, nursing, leisure and lifestyle;
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or its successor TAE40122);
  • Diploma or higher level qualification in adult education;
  • 1-2 years' hands-on experience in providing support to people living with dementia;
  • Demonstrated experience in the design, delivery, and assessment of adult education;
  • Experience working in the health, welfare, or community sector;
  • Experience and/or qualification in leadership or management;
  • Demonstrates inclusive behaviour; listens, values, and acknowledges others; is open and respectful to the contributions and ideas of others;
  • Communicates clearly and openly with different audiences, promoting dialogue and building consensus; actively listens to others and responds with understanding and respect.
