About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join our Export Perishable Team. As an industry leader in Australia's International Freight Forwarding and Customs Brokerage, we have established ourselves as an employer of choice. Due to expansion, this exciting opportunity has opened up within our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the export process for perishable goods, including documentation, shipping, and regulatory compliance.
  • Handle compliance tasks such as fumigation and obtaining health certificates.
  • Arrange transportation with shipping lines, airlines, and the transport department for timely deliveries.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, agents, and internal teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding.
  • Experience in export air or ocean freight and perishables (preferred).
  • Fumigation experience and certification.
  • Cargowise software (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
