Job Description

This role entails taking full responsibility for legal and corporate governance functions across the business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic advice to all business areas, focusing on real estate, construction, and corporate matters;
  • Advising on legislative changes affecting the real estate and construction industry;
  • Leading high-level negotiations;
  • Educating and training the team on legal and regulatory matters;
  • Managing disputes as they arise;
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies;
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and external legal advisors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 15 years post-admission experience in the property and/or construction industry. They should be in a senior role within their current organization, comfortable dealing with executives, and equipped to run the legal function effectively. Additionally, they will have:

  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen;
  • Outstanding persuasive communication skills;
  • A desire to work collaboratively.
