Job Summary

The In2science eMentoring Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the eMentoring program at La Trobe University. This includes recruiting, training, and placing university student eMentors as well as liaising with schools.

As a key member of the In2science team, the eMentoring Coordinator will collaborate with the Program Manager and other coordinators to support program delivery and administration related to the eMentoring initiative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and place university student eMentors
  • Liaise with schools to ensure successful program implementation
  • Collaborate with the In2science Program Manager and other coordinators to support program delivery and administration
Requirements
  • Degree with subsequent relevant experience or extensive experience in an administrative field
  • Proficient IT skills to support online mentoring environment
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to train others
  • Experience working in School and / or Tertiary environments
