Support Worker - High Intensity Care
At Right at Home, we offer a unique opportunity to work as a Support Worker in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, especially those with complex medical needs.
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care and support to our participants. This includes assisting with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming, and medication administration. You will also provide domestic assistance, including light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
In addition to these tasks, you will also provide social support and transportation to our participants, including accompanying them to social activities, shopping, and medical appointments. You may also be required to assist with sleepovers and shift work, as well as weekend shifts.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also require a current Australian Federal Police Clearance, CPR/First Aid Certificate, and NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
