Our organization provides in-home care and support services for individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently. High Intensity Support Workers play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those with complex medical needs.
The position involves traveling between clients' homes, where support workers assist with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centered care and support. Responsibilities may include:
- Providing assistance with daily tasks and activities
- Supporting individuals with personal care needs
- Assisting with mobility and transferring clients
- Preparing meals and snacks
- Engaging clients in social activities
Individuals in this role must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They must also be physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job.
