Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Fulton Hogan is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our Northern Industries Team based in Cedar Creek. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with quarry laboratory operations, including compliance testing for samples of aggregate, soils, road base, and CTB material.
  • Ensure laboratory and production facility compliance with NATA and Department of Main Roads Construction Materials Testing Supplier Registration System.
  • Conduct research and evaluation of data to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Collaborate with the Laboratory Foreman and Lab. Supervisor to ensure all tests are reported through our reporting tool Qestlab effectively.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of laboratory and production facility calibration requirements.
  • Quarry and soils testing laboratory experience, techniques, and accreditation.
  • Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Questlab.
  • Demonstrated commitment to collaborative, ethical behavior in a client-facing environment.
