About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Principal Engineer - Innovation to join our team at Consolidated Power Projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge engineering solutions that drive our mission of innovation and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the innovation strategy and roadmap for CPP, focusing on emerging technologies and sustainable solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, design innovative solutions, and oversee their successful execution.
  • Develop and implement Lessons Learned and maintain design standardisation between engineering design offices.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent.
  • 15+ years' experience at a senior level with substation design and/or utility grid connections.
  • Turnkey project expertise in transmission and distribution substation design from concept to commissioning including knowledge of industry and different client standards.
  • Evidence of a high level of ability in the preparation and review of Engineering design.
  • ISO9000 / QA processes and procedures, and AS standards.
  • Proven experience in preparing tenders.
