Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Connected Communities team, enhancing partnerships, governance, and strategic operations across Council managed spaces.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a small team of Community Liaison Officers to deliver exceptional service and achieve outstanding results.
  • Strengthen partnerships with stakeholders to improve access and outcomes for the community.
  • Oversee governance and compliance across community assets, ensuring alignment with Council policies and procedures.
  • Drive strategic planning and budget management for Halls & Hubs, focusing on innovation and efficiency.
  • Collaborate across Council teams to ensure safe, effective facility operations that meet the needs of the community.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in community engagement, stakeholder management or facility governance, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Strategic thinking and budget management skills, with expertise in financial planning and management.
  • Knowledge of hire agreements, leases, and licensing processes, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with software systems, including customer relationship management and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and community groups.
