Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned project manager to lead the commissioning of Fuel Infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will manage resources, schedules, commercials, safety, and client relationships while ensuring effective project delivery.

This role requires strong leadership skills, a high level of understanding and appreciation for safety, and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning of fuel infrastructure projects
  • Manage all aspects of the project including contract management, estimating, programming of work and defect rectification
  • Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
  • Manage project start-up, maintain project schedule and ensure effective handover, including regular project management meetings
  • Report on project success, results, progress, and deployment of activity
  • Maintain the project site, premises, plant & equipment
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements
  • Work closely with the commercial team and take ownership of all commercial aspects of the project
  • Manage and analyse project expenditure and duration
  • Engage with clients and internal subject matter experts at pre-contract stage to understand scope, and contribute to the tender process
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience delivering fuel projects and overseeing commission works
  • Leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities including reliability
  • A high level of understanding and appreciation for safety
  • Commercial acumen
  • Programming and planning skills
  • Experience in a similar role within a contractor environment
  • Driver's License
