Job Overview

This Senior Architect position involves leading the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions for a federal client. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying solution gaps, developing gap closure options, and ensuring alignment with business processes and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-level architecture designs that meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth solution implementation and integration.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in solution design and delivery.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance to team members and stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in architecture design, particularly in large-scale government projects. They should possess strong knowledge of frameworks, legislation, policies, procedures, and information management requirements relevant to the nominated domain.

Formal TOGAF certification is optional but desirable. Proficiency in architect fields, including cloud platforms, microservices, infrastructure, data, SAP, and enterprise integration, is essential. The ability to develop various architecture documentation, including High-Level Architecture (HLA) and patterns, is also required.

Technical Skills

The successful candidate will be proficient in tools such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Data Warehouse, and visualization tools like Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, and DrawIO.

Australian citizenship and Baseline Clearance are mandatory. Experience at the senior level (EL2 equivalent) is expected.
