About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate ICU registered nurse to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering safe and high-quality clinical care to patients in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to critically ill patients.
  • Deliver clinical care such as medication administration, wound care, chronic disease management, and palliative care, in line with best practice.
  • Assist patients and their families to make informed decisions about their care, ensuring their wishes and preferences are respected.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to any changes in patients' conditions and to clinical emergencies.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse.
  • Minimum one year of practical nursing experience, ideally in ICU or critical care.
  • NIS worker screening check (current or dated within five years).
  • Fully vaccinated for influenza (annually) and COVID-19.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the aged care quality standards and person-centred care principles.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
