Job Title: Restoration Manager - QLD Operations

About the Role

The Restoration State Manager will oversee a team who deliver restoration outcomes for multiple small, medium to large domestic and commercial projects within the insurance and facility management industries.

This position involves site-based estimating and supervision work, as well as the operational management of the business, including quality assurance, timeliness, safety and financial performance.

The successful candidate will work alongside a national team that supports national clients with project coordination, managed by the Restoration Operations Manager.

The role includes direct reports from state based project coordinators, internal technicians and partner contractors.

Key Relationships:

  • Reports to Executive General Manager | Restoration
  • Internal relationships with EGM Restoration, CFO/Finance Team, Operations Manager | Restoration, Business Services Team, WHS Manager, Project Coordinators and Technicians
  • External relationships with Partner Contractors, Suppliers, External Consultants, Clients, Customers and Industry Bodies

Selection Criteria

- Proven skills in reinstatement works
- Experience working with clients, building consultants and construction related trades and suppliers
- Ability to handle multiple projects with conflicting priorities
- Interpersonal skills for customer relationships
- People management skills for team leadership and results-driven culture
- Ability to develop business through quality service delivery

Requirements

- Essential experience in the insurance repair industry
- Understanding of the construction process, critical inspection points, permits and workplace health and safety requirements
- Familiarity with relevant Building codes and Australian standards and State legislation
- Track record of establishing long-term customer relationships
- Previous experience interacting with stakeholders at different levels
- Proven business development experience within the insurance industry
