**Job Overview**:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Principal to join our school community. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational vision and direction of our school.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of providing exceptional leadership and support to students, teachers, and parents. You will be responsible for assisting the Principal in leading the school community, upholding the values of the deputy principalship, and embedding socially just practices in daily school life.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Assist the Principal in leading the school community to develop, articulate, and commit to a shared educational vision.
  • Deputise for the Principal when required.
  • Uphold the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical, and moral activity.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
  • Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry, and business.
  • Be futures-oriented and strategic.
  • Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling.
  • Manage resources to achieve goals.

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Highly developed communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to social justice and equity.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in education or a related field.
