Job Summary

Salt Recruitment is partnering with a leading FMCG company to hire an Electrical and Automation Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the factory's electrical infrastructure, participating in CAPEX projects, and ensuring process and equipment safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Infrastructure Management: Design, installation, maintenance, operation, improvement, and upgrade of the factory's electrical infrastructure as part of a site electrical strategy.
  • CAPEX Project Participation: Participate in CAPEX projects in the factory adhering to market standards.
  • Process and Equipment Safety: Ensure process and equipment safety for people, products, and environment, and exhibit an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations.
  • Change Management: Ensure that change management is in place to appropriately manage modifications in the MES-E&A solutions.
  • Automation and MES Maintenance: Supervise and coordinate automation and MES maintenance and project work by electricians and contractors.
  • Issue Resolution: Coordinate with production, quality management, and engineering to resolve automation and MES issues.
  • Process Improvement: Develop a deep insight of the processes and continuously strive for the improvement of quality, safety, or efficiency while protecting the technological know-how and competitive advantage.
  • Engineering Tools Implementation: Participate in the implementation of engineering tools at site level (i.e., NSAT, NEST, AMM, etc.).
  • Compliance: Ensure that all MES-E&A installations comply with market and corporate safety, health, environment, product safety, and product quality standards.
  • Maintenance and Inspection: Participate in the M&I activities in the factory.
Requirements
  • Leadership: Join a collaborative team of specialists and be a strong leader with a drive to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Qualifications: Degree or diploma qualified with solid electrical and automation experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years automation and/or MES engineer with electrical experience.
  • Supervision: Experience in personnel supervision of technical teams, contractors, or other 3rd parties.
  • Project Development: Participation in the development of engineering projects as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Desirable Skills: Exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance planning, and/or maintenance execution; proficient in installation, programming, and troubleshooting of Allen Bradley PLC's and variable speed drives.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of instrumentation and process control, real-time management, MES, man/machine interfaces, and communication, computer hardware.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and a proven capacity to influence and negotiate to drive high standards of performance and quality.
