Assignment Overview

As a senior internal communications professional, you will work closely with the Principal, Internal Communications & Change to deliver targeted internal communications activities that support Santos wide communications initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of the internal communication strategy across various channels to inform and engage employees.
  • Draft and edit high-quality written materials for different audiences, formats, and channels.
  • Develop effective relationships with stakeholders to interpret internal communications messages for diverse target audiences.
  • Contribute to the coordination of the staff intranet, ensuring alignment with the internal communications strategy and user experience.
  • Uncover company stories to be celebrated and shared with employees.
  • Provide expert advice on internal communication channels and strategies to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations (essential).
  • Significant experience in a large corporate environment and complex stakeholder management.
  • Strong written, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, WordPress, and other CMS platforms.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple tasks effectively.
