Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

At Canva, we're on a mission to empower everyone to design anything and publish anywhere. We're seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Sydney or remotely across ANZ.

This role involves designing and developing impactful features that bring cloud cost insights closer to our teams, including automated cost anomaly detection at scale. You'll lead discussions, scope solutions, and support product teams and leaders with real-time answers to cost-related questions.

What You'd Be Doing In This Role
  • Building and implementing scalable cloud architecture to meet business needs
  • Developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
  • Partnering with engineering teams to improve cloud architecture and optimize costs
  • Driving operational excellence through process improvements and automation
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Strong foundational knowledge of computer engineering principles
  • Experience with cloud services like AWS, particularly EKS, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, and S3
  • Proficiency in Golang and/or Python programming languages
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team
