Electrical Estimator

We are seeking a motivated and experienced electrical estimator with a minimum of 5 years' experience in estimating electrical projects to join our Client Service Team.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following minimum attributes:

  • Formal Qualifications: Formal qualifications in Engineering or Project Management (preferred)
  • Current Open Electrical License (or Equivalent): A current Open Electrical License (or equivalent) is required for this role
  • Cablers License (preferred): A Cablers License (preferred) would be advantageous
  • CPR & LV Rescue Certificate: A CPR & LV Rescue Certificate is required
  • Construction Industry General Safety Induction: A Construction Industry General Safety Induction is required
  • Driver's License: A Driver's License is required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical & Communications Contracting Industry: Demonstrated experience in the electrical & communications contracting industry
  • Tendering for Electrical & Communications Projects: Tendering for electrical & communications projects
  • Developing Estimates, Budgets, & Financial Reporting: Developing estimates, budgets, and financial reporting
  • Discharging Company Policies and Procedures: Discharging company policies and procedures
  • Understanding of Contracts & Tender Processes on Major Projects: Understanding of contracts and tender processes on major projects

Requirements:

  • Well-developed Time Management & Prioritisation Abilities: Well-developed time management and prioritisation abilities
  • Communication - Interpersonal & Organisation Projects: Communication - interpersonal and organisation projects
  • HSE Risk Assessment: HSE risk assessment
  • Intermediate to Advanced PC Skills including Proficiency in MS Office Suite of Programs: Intermediate to advanced PC skills including proficiency in MS Office suite of programs
  • Experience in Conest Estimating Software: Experience in Conest Estimating Software
  • Sales and Relationship Building Skills: Sales and relationship building skills
  • Strong Work Ethic and Ability to Work within a Team Environment: Strong work ethic and ability to work within a team environment

A remuneration package commensurate with experience and knowledge of the industry will be discussed with the successful candidate.
