**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an Organiser to drive change by growing union membership, developing leadership amongst our members, encouraging active member participation, building and enforcing standards, and campaigning both politically and in the community.

The ideal candidate will possess passion and drive to improve workers' lives and achieve the goals of the Union.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build sustainable organising structures to achieve the Objects of the Union.
  • Create and implement plans for membership growth, member leadership, and industry power.
  • Assess and support the development of delegates and members.
  • Uphold and promote the Union's values of equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Right of Entry Permits.
  • Immunisation against COVID-19 or medical exemption.

Selection Criteria:

  • A strong track record of achieving outcomes through planning and organisation.
  • Excellent communication, messaging, and rapport-building skills.
  • Ability to develop and motivate others.
  • Participation in the unions political and social justice agenda.
