Project Coordinator Role

The position of Project Coordinator requires a highly organised and efficient individual to support the delivery of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative assistance, including database management, word processing, office logistics, and correspondence tracking.
  • Develop effective communication skills to interact with various levels of management, industry representatives, senior executives, and divisional staff on a wide range of issues.
  • Analyse enquiries or requests from internal and external stakeholders by researching information, determining appropriate actions, and responding on behalf of senior project leaders.
  • Manage diary requirements for the Project Director by scheduling governance meetings and other key appointments to ensure efficient use of time.
  • Monitor, maintain, update, and progress correspondence along with related filing systems to ensure deadlines are consistently met in line with government standards.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting infrastructure projects within an engineering environment where attention to detail is paramount.
  • Proven track record in delivering high-level administrative support within fast-moving environments requiring exceptional organisational skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of scheduling practices for senior executives including meeting coordination and accurate minute-taking abilities.
  • Familiarity with public sector operations or large organisations coupled with a strong commitment to confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  • Outstanding organisational skills enabling effective management of competing priorities while consistently meeting strict deadlines.
