As an Inventory Control and Forecasting Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring we have the right products in stock at the right time. This involves working closely with internal stakeholders to achieve forecast accuracy across all product lines and actively managing and monitoring inventory levels to ensure purchase orders are accurate and on time.

You will be responsible for being proactive and proposing improvements to current processes, thinking critically, challenging yourself and others. Ensuring timely import of products and stock management is also key to providing an exceptional customer experience. Your analytical skills will be used to understand and minimise logistics and warehousing costs by effectively analysing inventory levels and purchase orders' shipments sizes and frequency.

This role requires regular demand analysis and audit to avoid potential stock outs and aged stock. You will take corrective action where necessary and partner with key stakeholders to ensure stock levels are sufficient, considering potential demand changes based on sales and/or promotional campaigns.

To succeed in this role, you should have a University Degree in a relevant field (Commerce, Business, Mathematics or similar) and experience within or have exposure to Demand Planning or Inventory/Stock Control, preferably within a Retail, eCommerce or FMCG environment. Experience with SAP or Netstock will be well regarded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve forecast accuracy across all product lines by working closely with internal stakeholders on future demand.
  • Actively manage and monitor inventory levels to achieve company goals and KPIs.
  • Be proactive and propose improvements to current processes.
  • Ensure timely import of products and stock management.
  • Minimise logistics and warehousing costs by effectively analysing inventory levels and purchase orders' shipments sizes and frequency.
  • Perform regular demand analysis and audit to avoid potential stock outs and aged stock.
