Residential Aged Care Facility Leadership Role

We are seeking an authentic, compassionate and value-centric people leader to join our team as a Residential Aged Care Facility Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the best care and access to safe facilities for our residents.
This is a leadership role in a 134-bed residential aged care facility located in Toowoomba, South East Queensland. Our modern facility is set on 2 acres of lush elevated green space and has been designed over 3 levels and 4 wings. Two levels are dedicated to resident accommodation and communal areas including dining and lounge areas, a shared wellness centre, hair and beauty salon, barista cafe, theatre room, function room and administration centre.
The ideal candidate will have senior leadership capabilities across dynamic operations in a residential aged care facility, including aged care accreditation standards and aged care legislation. They will also have a highly collaborative approachable and influential leadership style focused on the provision of clinical care and customer service to residents, and the management of staff.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading and managing a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and services to residents.
- Ensuring compliance with aged care regulations and accreditation standards.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve staff engagement and retention.
- Building strong relationships with residents, their families and healthcare professionals.
- Providing clinical leadership and guidance to staff.
