Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the successful operations of our Production Attraction and Industry Development services. As the Production Attraction and Industry Development Manager, you will provide strategic support to achieve long-term outcomes and objectives.

You will manage the day-to-day operations of our team, including supporting funds, location services, and film-friendly schemes and activities. You will also oversee the targeted growth and development of the Below the Line (BTL) sector.

This is a 12-month contract role based in our Perth CBD office. You will be responsible for providing professional advice to industry practitioners and production companies regarding filming in Western Australia.

You will work collaboratively with Perth Film Studios to facilitate production into Western Australia. You will also manage and administer production incentives and funding programs.

You will proactively identify opportunities to promote Western Australia's locations, screen businesses, infrastructure, and film-friendly protocols to secure productions for Western Australia.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Significant experience in film and television production with a strong understanding of film and television production logistics and budgets.
  • Highly developed organisational skills, including demonstrated experience in managing actions to deadlines.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and customers.
  • Local production knowledge.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a small team, fostering a productive and collaborative environment.
