About the Role

As an Advanced Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health services across diverse settings. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide individualized care, guiding less experienced staff and contributing to their development. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive mental health services across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care.
  • Guide and mentor less experienced staff to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant postgraduate qualification in mental health practice or a related field.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Current practicing certificate.
  • Experience working in mental health settings, preferably in a regional area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary range of $84,870 - $107,240 p.a. (RN/M2C) and $72,651 - $99,129 p.a. (RN/M1). In addition, you will receive superannuation, leave loading, and salary sacrificing benefits. The classification RN/M may also be eligible for zone allowance and once-off incidental payment (conditions apply).

We also offer opportunities for professional development, including access to continuing education and training programs. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, progressing from a competent to proficient practitioner through experience and/or further study.
