Road Marking Specialist

Job Summary:
">This position involves regular maintenance of existing road markings to ensure their visibility and effectiveness.
Apart from maintaining existing markings, you will also be responsible for ensuring that traffic control measures are in place during road marking operations to safeguard your safety and that of other road users.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of road design plans and specifications provided by engineers or transportation departments.
They must interpret and implement these plans accurately to ensure the proper placement of markings on the road.
High levels of precision and accuracy are crucial for this role as even small errors in marking placement can lead to confusion and potential hazards for drivers.
As part of our team, you will use reflective materials in the road markings to enhance visibility at night or during adverse weather conditions.
Reflective markings improve safety and prevent accidents.
Working outdoors is often required, and adapting to varying working conditions such as heat, rain, or cold is essential to complete tasks effectively.
Effective communication is key to ensuring smooth operations and a safe working environment.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning equipment regularly to ensure striping machines and tools function correctly.
