The Group Statutory & Regulatory Reporting (S&RR) team plays a vital role in the bank's financial operations, responsible for statutory, prudential, and statistical reporting to APRA, RBA, and ABS, as well as Pillar 3 reporting. The team's focus areas include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver strategic agendas for S&RR to senior stakeholders;
  • Execution and delivery of semi-annual statutory results for the Annual Report and Profit Announcements, including driving financial automation transformation projects;
  • Deliver outcomes, with extensive dealings across the broader S&RR team, Group Financial Controls team, and CBA Group Business Unit finance teams.

As a Data Analysis and Reporting Specialist, you will:

  • Foster continuous improvement within the Group Reporting team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and functionality;
  • Support and lead the automation agenda for the team, transforming statutory and regulatory reporting requirements;
  • Provide advisory services on reporting process improvements and support related projects;
  • Assist with half-year and year-end reporting deliverables, including the Annual Report, Profit Announcement, and Pillar 3;
  • Articulate key business drivers, provide critical insights, and deliver value-add analysis of the Group's statutory results to senior stakeholders.

We're seeking candidates with excellent commercial acumen, experience with Alteryx, Tableau, or Power BI, and SQL skills. You'll work with large datasets, utilizing advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis. Strong analytical and commercial skills are essential, along with exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
