Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Haulage Driver to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for driving and operating a variety of trucks and equipment to maintain and construct roads, drainage, and other civil infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive safely and competently operate a range of trucks from rigid motor vehicles up to 15 tonnes to heavy trailer combinations exceeding 43 tonnes.
  • Perform labouring, plant and truck operation duties associated with maintenance and construction of roads and drainage assets or other associated civil infrastructure.
  • Provide on-the-job training and share knowledge and skills with fellow work colleagues.
  • Maintain high standards of safety and comply with Workplace Health and Safety regulations.
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clients.
Requirements:
  • Current General Construction Safety White Card.
  • Current QLD Manual Car C Class Open Drivers Licence or interstate equivalent.
  • Current QLD Heavy Combination Truck HC Class Licence.
  • Licence/tickets to operate road construction plant and/or equipment.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction.
  • Current Traffic Controllers Ticket.
